I am an Egyptian Arabic teacher, Currently i live in Cairo, I like reading, walking, meeting people from different cultures, traveling, and learning new things.
Being a teacher of Arabic to non speakers helped me a lot in improving my ability to deal with the people from different backgrounds, and placs, i became more understanding to the difference between people , in addition to teach my language and culture, and helping people to undersatnd it .
I have Master's of Education in teaching Arabic to non Arabic speakers .
I have been teaching Arabic as foreign language for almost 10 years now, both Modern standard, and Egyptian colloquial language, I teach Online, and face to face .
My students come from many different countries around the world, and their age range from 18 to 60.
I teach Modern standard Arabic (Fusha), and Egyptian colloquial Arabic (Ameyyah).
I always try to improve my students' ability in speaking, reading, listening ,writing , However i put more focus on the speaking part ,as i believe that the language is a communication way between people , so it is very important to improve it .
Helpful and positive introduction; thank you
Somaia was so helpful to boost my studying in between classes by recommending useful additional listening and understanding resources. Thank you Somaia!!!
I could clearly see the vast improvements Somaia has produced in my listening, understanding and practicing of Arabic in just a few lessons. She also is not shy to explain things outside my level to help me understand the presence of other elements.
I feel the course format and the patience of Somaia helps the student to problem-solve scenarios for listening and understanding dialogs is one of the most helpful strategies to learn and understand Arabic quickly and make sense of things.
