I am from Argentina and live in Buenos Aires City. I love teaching and learning languages.

In my free time I go swimming, read and do Yoga. I also take drama lessons.

I love travelling and meeting people from all around the world.

I´m a certified Spanish teacher (International House Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language) and I am currently doing a Masters degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language at the University of Barcelona.

I am also a Teacher Trainner for the International House Certificate for teching Spanish. That means I am qulified to train the teachers to be.

I have 9 years of experience in teaching both English and Spanish in different enviroments (University, private schools,hostels, private students.) That´s why I´m a very flexible teacher.

I also held a degree on Business Administration (University of Buenos Aires)

I expect my students to reach a capacity to communicate in a second or foreign language according to their availability to study. To achieve this, I adjust the lessons to the student’s needs and pace.

I use the communicative approach, focusing on language as a medium of communication and recognising that all communication has a social purpose.

The communicative approach gives emphasis on helping the students to use a new language in different contexts.

Accent is on functional/usable language.

Soy argentina y me encantan los idiomas y enseñar. En mi tiempo libre, juego al tenis, me divierto con mi hijo y leo.

Me gusta mucho viajar y aprender nuevas lenguas, actualmente estoy estudiando alemán.

Soy magíster en la enseñanaza de español como lengua extranjera en la Universidad de Barcelona.

Además, hice el Certificado de Español como lengua extranjera de international House y he completado mi entrenamiento para ser tutora del mismo, es decir, que ahora entreno a los candidatos a profesores de español.

Dada mi experiencia con diferentes edades y diferentes contextos, adapto mis clases a los objetivos y necesidades de mis estudiantes. Me baso en el método comunicativo y por tareas buscando que mis alumnos realicen un aprendizaje significativo y eficaz.

Uso diversos materiales del mundo real, es decir, diarios, revistas, cosas de la radio, canciones y películas en español.
