I am a 40 year old native Englishman currently living in the Philippines. I provide English conversation and grammar lessons to students all around the world using Skype. I am university educated with a degree in languages and am also TEFL certified.

I have a BA Honours degree in ‘German with French’.

I am also TEFL certified, having successfully completed a course with i-to-i (UK). The course included a Grammar Awareness Course, together with the following specialist courses: Teaching English One-to-One; Teaching Business English; Teaching English to Young Learners and Teaching Large Classes.

I have over 15 years of professional experience in England, having worked in a legal capacity. During this time, I also tutored the siblings of friends prior to their foreign language exams. I have been living in the Philippines for approximately two years now. Initially, I began teaching English to students in person, however transportation problems in this country led to my decision to begin on-line teaching. I currently have students from all over the world, of a variety of ages and levels of English. My students are a mixture of college/university graduates, professionals and IELTS (or equivalent) candidates.

I offer all new students a free trial lesson, during which I will use a short questionnaire to obtain a few details. This helps to give me an idea about the students' needs and desires, and also about the students' level of English.

I offer assistance with Speaking, Listening, Writing & Reading. I use a variety of activities in my lessons, all of which will be fully explained in the trial lesson.

I aim to have my students speaking as much English as possible in the lessons, thereby giving them every opportunity to practise their language skills.
