I was born in Madrid, Spain. I am trilingual, in Spanish, English and German. I left Spain for my last year of college, and went to Germany to finish it there.

I have a bachelors in Tourism Management . I enjoyed my time in Germany so much that I decided to stay and work there as well. During that time, I met my husband and after 4 years, we moved to the US.

I am a very flexible and patient teacher and I love to get feedback from my students to work on what needs to be better and know what I am doing right!

Spanish tutor working face to face with students in my local area.

I have always loved tutoring, I have been doing it since I was in college, in Madrid, and also in Germany when I lived there. I taught at a school for adults and I really enjoyed that experience.

I am currently teaching locally in my area to quite a few students. It is such a rewarding experience when your students get A's or they can have a conversation with you all of a sudden!

• 2001 to Jul 2002: Weiterbildungszentrum, Ingelheim, Germany -- Spanish language teacher.

I taught Spanish in several different adult classes. They were at the beginners level. It was a great experience for me to conduct my own classes and see my students improve.

I speak Spanish in my classes 100%; for me that's so important ( except in the beginner levels ).

Your hearing needs to get used to listening and understanding, but of course I can translate into English when needed!, i.e while explaining grammar, or doing exercises.

I work with your level and goals and we will focus in on what you need to improve the most. My classes are tailor made just for you. For those who also love to know about our culture, food, history, I would love to teach you about it while doing it in Spanish!

I provide grammar notes, exercises and vocabulary, sufficient to keep you engaged between each one of our lessons.

Tengo una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas Turísticas. Disfruté de mi tiempo en Alemania tanto que decidí permanecer y trabajar allí.

Durante ese tiempo, conocí a mi emarido y después de 4 años, nos trasladamos juntos a los Estados Unidos. Siempre me ha encantado enseñar, yo lo he hecho desde que estaba en la universidad, en Madrid, y también en Alemania y ahora me decico a ello a tiempo completo! no hay nada mejor que hacer lo que a uno le gusta.

• 2001 a Jul 2002: Weiterbildungszentrum, Ingelheim, Alemania -- Profesora de español. Tenía varias clases de aultos de niveles de principiantes a los que ensenaba español. Fue una gran experiencia que disfute mucho.

Hablo español en mis clases 100 %; para mí esto es muy importante. ( Excepto en niveles de principiantes ). Es muy necesario acostumbrar el oido a escuchar y comprender, pero por supuesto traduzco al inglés cuando es necesario, mientras explico gramática o al hacer ejercicios...
