Hello my name is Nicola Loverre, I am an Italian native speaker who is currently working as a freelance consultant for a multinational company, which provides localization and translation services for the web.

I have extensive experience in both IT and teaching fields, with two years work experience in the Czech Republic.

My teaching experience includes Italian language courses for foreign residents and students in my home country, and English private lessons for Italians.

My IT experience dates back to the early 2000's, as a System Administrator on Unix and Windows platforms in both domestic and international environments.

Italian Language teacher for foreigners, both on a 1-1 and collective basis; part time, sporadic activity from 2004 until present day.

2010-2012 System Administrator, techincal specialist and Compliance Manager for IBM and Motorola Solutions in Brno, Czech Republic, for the Italian Market.

My teaching approach is a mix of the so-called " Direct Method ", which consists in letting the students perceive meaning directly through the language with no translation, through the use of visual aids etc., encouraging them to use the language as it would happen in every day life, and traditional grammar.
