Detailed Profile in English

About me

I am a graduate in Polish and Spanish Philology (Linguistics and Literature) who finds speaking languages a fantastic experience that allows one to discover different worlds and live various lives.

In addition to my native Polish language and conquered Spanish I enjoy speaking English and Portuguese and I try to polish these skills on a daily basis.

I have been teaching languages since I was a teenager, mostly as a second job however in my professional life I haven't found anything more rewarding than when my student starts to communicate efficiently in the language I introduced them to.

Teaching Approach

I know grammar and I could prepare my students for tests and exams, however my teaching approach is linked to my experience as a foreign language teacher and not to my knowledge of grammar. I have to admit that my students have been mainly people who had to learn Polish because they came to live in Poland or they wanted to do it because of love (their partner was Polish) or for their family.

This way I learnt that the most important thing is to keep my students motivated, show them what they gained with the work and effort put into classes (some practical skill, etc.) and also to make the learning process as fun as possible respecting and understanding all differences in learning styles. This way I can present myself as a follower of the task focused approach to teaching. I also focus on the language that people really use than the one expected to be used by all kinds of Academies.

If you are interested in Spanish, my main experience comes to courses that should prepare my students for holidays in Spain :)
