About me - English
Hi, I'm Valentina and I was born in Milan, where I still live.
I'm a curious, dynamic and sociable person that loves being with other people.
For this reason, I chose to teach Italian to foreigners. It's creative work which allows me to come into contact with people from different cultures and to share opinions, knowledge and experience.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a degree in Political Sciences from the University of Milan.
Following my graduation I specialised in the teaching of Italian as a second language, gaining the DITALS II from Siena's University for Foreigners.
I have been teaching Italian for several years. I have worked both in state schools (as a linguistic facilitator for immigrant children) and in private language schools, running group, individual and business courses for adults from all over the world.
Teaching Approach
I don't have a pre-packaged teaching method. I prepare each lesson according to the characteristics, needs and personality of the student, preferring a communicative approach which is effective for the context in which the student needs to move.

Per questo ho scelto di insegnare l'italiano agli stranieri, perché è un lavoro creativo che mi permette di entrare in contatto con persone di diverse culture e scambiare opinioni, conoscenze e esperienze.
Qualifications & Experience
Mi sono laureata in Scienze Politiche nel 2005.
In seguito mi sono specializzata nell'insegnamento dell'italiano L2, conseguendo la certificazione DITALS II presso l'Università per gli Stranieri di Siena.
Insegno italiano da diversi anni.
Ho lavorato sia nelle scuole pubbliche (come facilitatrice linguistica con i bambini immigrati) che nelle scuole private, come insegnante in corsi di gruppo, individuali, aziendali, con adulti di tutte le provenienze.
Teaching Approach
Non ho un metodo pre-confezionato di insegnamento: preferisco infatti preparare le lezioni in base alle caratteristiche e alla personalità di ogni singolo studente, privilegiando sempre un approccio comunicativo ed efficace per l'uso della lingua nel contesto necessario allo studente
