I learned my first words in Italian today, and spoke my first sentences. Roberta was very prepared with helpful materials.

Good lesson. Roberta is super patient with me and is very laid back. It's my first time learning italian and I already feel confident about myself and am able to pick up the grammar pretty fast. Thank you and looking forward to the next lesson!
I'm Roberta, a 30 years old girl from Padova, a beautiful town near Venice.
I love travelling and discovering new culture.
I am convinced that teaching is the right occupation for me; I have been teaching children for 13 years, and dance for 8.
My belief is that students can learn more from me, as I am Italian and a native speaker. I can explain and demonstrate what Italy truly is; not a stereotype, but a country full of many different aspects.
Qualifications & Experience
CEDILS (certification attesting competence as an Italian language instructor).
I obtained my qualification from Laboratorio Itals (Cà Foscari University in Venise) headed by Prof. Balboni, one of the greatest experts in foreign language instruction, which aims to train instructors of Italian.
Teaching Approach
I try to understand what students need and how they can express themselves better.
I prefer an affective-humanistic approach because I think that a student first needs to feel comfortable and enjoy learning.
First Free Lesson: I want to know what my student is looking to achieve, his language level, his expectations etc.. Then I can create a personalized program.
After the first lesson we can start with conversation, exercises, grammar and more.
