I was amazed how much ground we were able to cover in such a short period. Very thorough email feedback to the lesson.

Post Paris trip and a real pleasure to be challenged in a learning environment again.
My name is Laurence, I’m from the South of France!
As a perpetual globetrotter, I have been traveling in more than ten countries and living in Canada, Ireland, Spain, Italy and in the Republic of Maldives!
Apart from traveling, I like teaching, cooking and I’m very keen on scuba diving.
If my available hours are not convenient for you, please specify what time would be better, and I may be able to adjust my timetable to yours.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate, I would be very happy to answer to you!
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Degree in Applied Languages and translation Studies (French-English-Spanish) and an Elementary school Master’s Degree.
I also hold a DELF corrector certificate so if you need to practice for this exam I would be happy to help you.
I have been teaching French as a second language in three different countries so far, in International Schools and " Alliances Françaises" and I'm about to start working in the French Institute of Florence (Italy).
Teaching Approach
A first trial class is offered to each of my student to meet them, evaluate their level in French and define a program.
I adjust my classes to each student’s need and make my teaching material vary to make the learning process more interesting and interactive.
I also adjust my teaching methods to the student: children, teenager or adult.
I often use genuine documents such as French newspapers, TV documentaries, advertisements, novel extracts…
I'm keen on using games and songs to teach French especially with the youngest learners.
On demand, I'm also keen on introducing specific everyday life elements in our French sessions to make you feel in complete immersion. In this way, if you feel for example like cooking a French recipe with me on live, behind your screen, we will do it together… In French!
Finally, I would like to say that my aim is to make every learner progress in French in a good atmosphere in which each of them would be able to open up more and more every day!
