Hi, my name is Natsumi and I am here to help you learn Japanese. Please call me Natsu Sensei!

I'm a native Japanese speaker but also speak some English. My lessons will be held in Japanese, but I can also teach you in English whenever you need help to understand anything that is being taught.

I love English! I have been learning it since I was young and understand how fun but hard it is to learn another language. I have been doing full-time volunteer work for 9years. I also lived for a year in California where I captured the English language more fully, and I lived in Toronto until 2015. Now I'm living in Dominican Republic.

I think Japanese is a beautiful language but has many different expressions that make it a little difficult to translate from English. Please feel free to ask me anything when you find difficulties in your lessons. I will always help and explain until you are satisfied and understand what is being taught.

I've been tutoring Japanese for several years. Both On-line and In person.

I can teach from the basics of primary school Japanese to business Japanese.

Student ages range from 11 years old to adults. If you are planning to travel, work or live in Japan, I can teach you so you can get by comfortably.

My teaching method includes using a workbook (Minna no Nihongo Beginner and Intermediate)to learn grammar and also conversation sessions to use the language in practical situations and daily conversation.

If you are an advanced student, you can bring any topics you would like to talk. Let's brush up your Japanese skill!

私は日本語が母国語の日本人です。英語も話します。私のレッスンは日本語で行われますが、もしレッスン中に分からないことがあればいつでも英語で教えます。

私は英語が大好きです！小さいころから英語の勉強をしているので外国語の勉強の楽しさも難しさもよく知っています。フルタイムのボランティア活動をして10年になります。カルフォルニアに一年語学留学し、カナダのトロントに2015年まで住んでいました。現在ドミニカ共和国に住んでいます。

日本語は美しいですが難しく、他の言語に訳すことができない表現などもたくさんあると思います。分からないことがあったらどんどん聞いてくださいね。教わったことが納得できるまで、丁寧に説明します。

日本語を教えて４年になります。小学校レベルの基本的なレベルからビジネス日本語までおしえることができます。現在１１歳から大人まで教えています。もし旅行や仕事などのため日本に行く予定があるなら、是非私とレッスンをしてみてください！

レッスンは主にテキスト（みんなの日本語）をもとにして文法と会話を学び、日常の場面で使う練習になります。
