I have always had a passion for English and learning languages in general. This passion has led me to pursue studies in foreign languages and linguistics.

I am a very friendly person and enjoy talking with students from different backgrounds and learning from them as well.

BA in Spanish and an MA in Linguistics/TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Over eight years experience in a classroom setting as well as on-on-one tutoring of all aspects of English. My focus has mainly been with adult learners of English as a second language, and I have taught students from all over the globe and from many different language backgrounds, but I have worked with all ages and levels of English development.

Have fun, laugh, and learn! I understand the difficulty of learning a new language and the frustration it can often cause, and it is very important to me that the student feels comfortable and finds learning English a positive and enjoyable experience.

I work with students on any aspect of English language that they wish to focus on, whether it is sentence structure, vocabulary, pronunciation, or just conversation practice.

Note to new students: Lately I have had many students book free trial lessons and then not appear at the scheduled time. When students do not cancel or let me know that they have decided not to take the lesson, the time is blocked on my schedule and other students are not able to book a lesson for that time slot. For this reason, I have changed my trial lesson policy from a free trial to a 90% discount to try to avoid this problem. Thank you for your understanding :)
