I lived in America for quite a while and after graduating from college I took a huge step taking a job in Korea teaching English. One of the best experiences of my life. This has led me towards the field of teaching and I hope to help you as much as possible.
TESOL certification of 100 plus hours.
Tutor and Assistant Teacher in University
After graduation I taught English in South Korea for over 2 years. Over there, I taught high school boys. During the summer and winter breaks, I would teach adults and children.
I find that the most effective way to teach English is through context and a more interactive approach. Examples include: articles to discuss and study vocabulary, episodes to study listening and common speech, and many more. I try to help students have as much fun as possible. I assume most students do have a background in English, but are not quite fluent. They are not yet ready or confident to meet English speakers in apprehension over not being able to keep up. Let me help you get to this level!
The pronunciation of 'a' in Korea was something that I had not been aware of until today. Thank you.
I appreciate your flexibility in finding out what I want/need to do. I think we'll be able to discuss what would be a good method in details.
