It's easy to be enthusiastic about a subject when your tutor is so passionate about himself!
I was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 57 years ago. I have been living in Spain since 1980. I love languages, music, travelling, football and a good meal but especially teaching.
I worked as a manager of two export companies in Spain and since five years I have been working as a teacher, translator and interpreter.
Qualifications & Experience
I finished my degree in Linguistics at the University of La Laguna (Spain). The first three years of this study were done at the University of Utrecht ( The Netherlands).
I have been teaching Dutch online for the last five years by Skype. My experience as a teacher has been with students from 11 until 72 years old from all parts of the world: China, U.S.A., U.K., Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Japan, Corea, Germany, France, Belgium and Poland.
Teaching is my passion.
Teaching Approach
The lessons are for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Conversation is possible as well.
I try to give my lessons in a pleasant way for the students and give some homework for the next lesson. As soon as possible I combine grammar with conversation. I use my own teaching materials and I want my students to take notes in their own notebook.
I am very patient but I want my students to show commitment.
