About me - English
Hi everyone. My name is Leonardo and I'm from the north west of Spain, Galicia.
I have a high-level Bachelor Degree in History from the University of Santiago de Compostela, where I also achieved my History PhD in September 2002. My studies included courses in English, Art, History, Geography and IT.
I have some experience learning languages, so I know how it is to learn a new language. I think that the best way to learn a language is conversation, and during my lessons we´ll talk about different topics . I'll use articles, news and exercices to get you talking.
You'll see your listening skills, vocabulary and fluency growing, and the most important, your confidence, which is the clue and the best feature that a language learner should have. We'll make learning fun, easy and entertaining.

History Teacher. Xunta de Galicia. 2007 - Present. I have been working as substitute History teacher in Secondary Schools of Galicia since 2007.
Spanish Teacher online. I started to work as a Spanish tutor online in 2013.
Teaching Approach
As every student is different, I focus on the student’s needs and targets. I prepare the lessons depending on what the student wants or needs.
I think that the best way to learn a language is conversation, and during my lessons we´ll talk about different topics . I'll use articles, news and exercises to get you talking. You'll see your listening skills, vocabulary and fluency growing, and the most important, your confidence, which is the clue and the best feature that a language learner should have.
I normally dedicate the FREE TRIAL CLASS as an opportunity to get to know the students level and expectations.
I will send some materials to work with during the lesson and I try to make my students feel comfortable and to be confident in themselves. For me it’s important that you enjoy the lessons and achieve your aims.
During the lessons I will try to use Spanish as much as it’s possible, so students get used to the language.
