I really enjoyed my first lesson with Gema. It has been a long time since I have been able to practice speaking in Spanish and I think our conversation went well. I found that Gema pushed me and encouraged me to use my knowledge of the language during our conversation and I think it went better than I expected it to. Teaching Approach
Interactive activities with video and audio, focusing on the comprehension and conversation as the most important skills due to the students requests.
I usually invite my students to complete a level test before we start, it allows me to learn more about each student and any special needs. We will practice the verbs, vocabulary and grammar needed to complete a level then move forward with more confidence. Patience and consistency are clues to success in this journey.
