About me - English
I am originally from northern Italy but have been living in San Francisco CA for 1 year as I am currently married to a US citizen.
I attained my Master's Degree in Languages, Cultures and International communications and Bachelor's Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy).
Both my educational paths have allowed me to expand my linguistic abilities in Italian, English, and also Spanish. I've been working as a tutor for 11 years. I began tutoring after completing High School and enjoyed teaching ever since. I have been teaching Italian and English to both individuals and groups and have worked in both onsite and online education environments.
I have travelled a lot and have always attended classes abroad, this has allowed me to experience and learn different teaching methodologies. In 2014, in Brighton (England) I took and passed with the highest marks the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test). An exam recommend to learn different techniques to teach languages to children, teenagers and adults.

Teaching Approach
Teaching is my passion! Being a student abroad and a teacher I know exactly what students expect from the lessons.
My approach is very dynamic, I cover all the areas (listening, speaking, writing, grammar) involving my students in interesting and fun activities. I always integrate materials such as: newspaper articles, movies, songs, board games, art works in my lessons alongside the traditional grammar book. In fact, I believe that a dynamic approach to the language speeds the learning process up and engage the students.
