Hello everyone, my name is Marilena and I am a professional teacher.
I am a native Greek speaker and I teach modern Greek, ancient Greek, Latin and History. I can speak the following languages: Greek, English, German. I am currently offering a free initial trial lesson for new students.
Qualifications & Experience
I have completed my Bachelor studies in ''Greek Language and Philology" (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) in 2013. Since then I have been teaching modern Greek, ancient Greek, Latin and History to students of all levels and ages.
I have also attended seminars and conferences concerning the spreading of the Greek language and literature abroad. I have participated in radio broadcasts where, I and other professors, discuss with literateurs about their work and Literature in general.
Teaching Approach
My teaching approach is student centred. I try to organize the learning session and edit the notes and material, according to the student's needs and level, in order to make the lesson interesting and easy to follow.
Communication is a key aspect of my teaching methods. I am always open to questions or suggestions from my students, keeping the lesson a dynamic procedure. At the end of the class we review the most important points of the lesson and I give my student feedback and tips on aspects to work on.
