About me - English
Hello! My name is Elena. I'm a native born Russian and offer personal tuition in Russian and English languages for learners. My experience of teaching is over 4 years by now and my first lesson started while I was a student in a university. I started to learn English while I was 6 and I graduated from a specialized school #1272 in Moscow. I continued my language education in State international academy of tourism and graduated in 2014. In addition, I took a special course of teaching Russian as a foreign language in Moscow State University.
Teaching gives me a real pleasure when I see that my students enjoy my lessons and they have good results in learning. I am sure that having fun and positive emotions helps my students to learn more and easier. I construct my lessons so that my tutees would talk, listen, write and read. During the lessons we watch videos, play games, read articles from magazines and newspapers, discuss news and world problems, explore geography and unusual facts about countries and of course we don`t forget about grammar.
I have hold classes for young children (from 4), schoolchildren and grown-ups – people of all ages. Each person has his own individuality and it’s so exciting for me to find a personal way to work with a tutee. I teach in person and via Skype to suit student's location and timetable. I work only individually with one student and can teach all levels of both languages – and Russian and English.

- BA in State international academy of tourism in Mocow
- a course of teaching Russian as a foreign language in Moscow State University
- an interpreter at the Winter Olympics in 2014
- personal assistant to an English speaking top manager
Teaching Approach
I like to adopt a communicative approach which set clear, achievable goals for each lesson. Together we can choose topics, such as booking a flight, world news, shopping, fashion and etc. and base the lesson around these situations and what language, phrases, and structures you will need.
