My name is Lee and I am a native English speaker from Australia. I have been teaching English to non-native speakers since 2002.

I currently live in central Vietnam and I teach for a language school part time. I also teach private lessons for students who are preparing to study overseas, most of these are online classes for students in different countries.

I live close to the beach and enjoy spending time outdoors. I also like riding my motorbike on short day trips around my city and visiting the mountains and countryside of Vietnam. I love travelling, so far I have visited 20 countries and hope to visit many more in the future.

I am interested in technology and have created a few websites. I spend a lot of time online and prefer learning and researching online to watching TV. If you are interested in travelling, technology and online learning, I would love to chat with you.

Over the years I have also taken part in lots of in-house training programs supplied by my employers. This training includes but is not limited to needs assessment, curriculum development, classroom management, materials creation, peer observations, effective board work and building rapport.

The above work experience does not include private lessons with individuals and small groups. I have also completed business contracts ranging from 1 to 12 months with various organisations including a gold mine, an oil refinery, 5 star resorts and various government departments.

My lessons are all focused on what you want and need to improve your English. The first lesson that we have together is very important as it allows me find out exactly what you want to achieve. I will then develop lessons to help you achieve your language learning goals.

Most of the lessons I teach online include the following:

- review of previous lesson or knowledge.

- introduction of the lesson content.

- teaching of the lesson content.

- practice of the lesson content.

- error correction and feedback.

- homework and self study activities.

- a post lesson email or report.

The lesson could include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing correction, speaking practice, reading or listening skills, conversation practice and so on. My lessons require a lot of input from you so make sure you ask lots of questions and ask for help when you need it. I really enjoy helping students and making the lessons fun and effective.

I have more than 4 years experience with online teaching and focus on helping students practice and prepare for the IELTS exam. During my online lessons I help students understand what they need to change to score well on the IELTS writing and speaking exams. My lessons include lots of feedback and estimated band scores. I can also help students with general conversation with a focus on improving pronunciation and communication skills.
