2018 - 2020.

Landi Subject English

I taught children aged 5-12 and I incorporated a range of language skills in my lessons, as well as honing their abilities through CLIL including numeracy and geography.

2015

Yadavindra Public School, India

I taught both Art and German. As an Art teacher I exposed the students to different movements and art concepts through varied media, both challenging the students to create and to critically discuss their projects. I also responded to the students desires to learn German, by starting a German language initiative.

2014 - 2015

Ganquan Foreign Languages Middle School, China

Facilitated by the British Council, I taught both Chinese and multi-lingual classes of ages 11 to 18. They ranged from elementary to intermediate level. Additionally, I was responsible for training the teachers in EFL methodologies and I created and designed my own textbook course. During this time, I assessed and refined my own teaching and developed a confident and focused attitude.

2014 - 2015

Target English International Ltd, UK

I worked two summers for Target English. I prepared multi-lingual classes (grades 3 - 9) for the Trinity GESE exam. I developed the content provided by utilising authentic English sources and language games.

Austrian Bilingual Classroom Initiative, Austria

I worked in a different secondary school every week and used language based activities, total physical response, theatre and songs to develop students’ confidence and fluency.

My lessons focus on speaking skills, but I also like to use reading materials to help develop your vocabulary and provide us with interest topics to discuss. I also will include grammar aspects in our lessons, to help continually improve your English language.
