I was born in Italy, and has been living in New York City for more than a decade.

I am a versatile and dedicated multi-lingual professional with broad-based background ranging from business/project management to teaching, interpreting, and translating.

I have been teaching Italian for many years both in a traditional classroom setting, as well as online and other forums, such as individualized lessons.

I am currently engaged by Time & Life Inc., teaching Italian Language at the Time & Life Building in New York City, also teach through video conferences at Warner Bros California employees.

I also teach Italian Language and Culture to adults and children at Belle Arti Center in Forest Hills, New York.

I use Cds about Art and Cities, contemporary Poetry and Music to give full immersion in the Italian culture. The classes are programmed for:

Beginner (vocabulary, rules of grammar), Intermediate (reading, translating), Advanced (music, movies, literature), Conversations.

In the Beginner session my goal is to provide the student with an essential Italian vocabulary, rules of grammar and expressions and to connect him/her to the Italian culture in an interesting, dynamic way with CDs about Art and Cities and contemporary Italian Poetry and Music.

In the Intermediate session the student will improve the Italian language through the practice of grammar with conversations, reading and translating. Learn some idioms and proverbs like: Chi dorme non piglia pesci – to surprise even the Italians! DVDs about cities and artists will take the student on a virtual tour of Italy.

In the Advanced session the student will improve the understanding and fluency in Italian language. Listening to contemporary Italian music, watching movies and DVDs, and reading short stories by modern writers make the classes enjoyable immersing him/her in Italian culture.

Conversazioni, Brani e Poesie (Conversations, Writer's Pieces and Poems). A session designed to practice Italian and enhance the knowledge of the language and culture.
