My name is Patricia. I was born in Mexico in a multicultural border city to the United States. My native language is Spanish, I speak English fluently and I am currently studying French. I studied and lived in the United States, Mexico and China. I taught for many years in both languages, English and Spanish, to children from the ages of two (in China) to adults (in Playa del Carmen, Mexico), I also home-schooled my children. Besides being a certified bilingual teacher, I am a psychologist and a certified yoga instructor. I enjoy teaching and wish to share this joy of languages with you.

I am certified as a Bilingual/ESL teacher from the University of Texas at El Paso, USA. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education "With Emphasis in Math and Science". I took the Spanish Proficiency Interview and scored a 'level of 3 or above', the highest score.

I have taught in diverse environments. Pre-kinder to fourth grade as an elementary bilingual teacher and 'At-risk' high school students. In El Paso Community College, English as a second language (ESL) to adults including reading, writing, listening and speaking and in Jiansu University of Science and Technology, China, I taught English conversation to engineering students. My private on-line teaching experience is also extensive.

My approach is individualized according to each student's needs. I believe everyone can learn! I provide a safe environment where students feel comfortable in experiencing the learning of a new language. I listen, ensuring a teacher-student connection, so as to make the most of every minute while making the class interesting and fun.
