Hello! My Name is Ray Pitcher and I am a 25 year old ESL tutor from Manchester in the UK. My interests include travel, music and film. I'm also a graduate in Sociology from the University of Nottingham. I have over two years classroom teaching experience (South Korea, Vietnam) and two years online teaching experience from various companies; working with both children and adults. I am currently offering conversational English classes based around improving your immediate use of English in social or work situations through the use of either free talk or topic focussed lessons. - I also have over two years experience teaching in the classroom in South Korea and Vietnam. The students varied from ages 5 - 18 and the level of English ranged from teaching students to read, to preparing them for internationally recognised exams for foreign universities (The TEFL IBT).

- Finally, since returning I have amassed two years online teaching experience for around 20 hours a week.. This experience has made me very comfortable with teaching online affectively and keeping the lessons interesting! the clientele varies vastly in ability and has left me well practiced with all levels and ages of students. So no matter what level you are I can help you improve!

My general approach centres around student satisfaction and development - in making you enjoy the lessons whilst seeing constant improvements! The trial lesson will be based on you stating what area you want to improve in and me then making a series of lessons to help you towards your goal. I will also give you positive feedback on other areas I think you could work on to help you get even better.

My lessons continue in this style and are aimed to keep you developing in every session whilst also having fun with English. We can focus the lesson on topics and areas that you want to improve on and be more comfortable speaking about with additional help in other areas as we work - i.e. various areas of grammar and vocabulary boosters.
