Charlotte is one of the best teachers I've ever worked with. She keeps the conversation flowing and doesn't ever let it fade by asking engaging and interesting questions. She also makes appropriate corrections in a way that doesn't interrupt the flow and you shall find yourself using the correct form/word/phrase next time the opportunity comes.

We finished reading an article on Burma in Le Monde Diplomatic and started reading and even longer journal article on Henri Fauconnier who wrote "Malaise" a classic novel on Malaya after the First World War.

Hi, my name is Charlotte. I am from France, however my passion for languages took me a little bit all over the world and I am now settled in Canada.
My experiences in Europe, Asia and Northern America enabled me to share with a lot of people what I like the most: teaching and learning languages.
I did not grow up in a bilingual environment, however at the age of 6, I discovered in my English class that being able to speak another language, almost a secret language, was fabulous. From there, every time I had a chance, I engaged to learn a new language. This is how I started to learn German when I was 10, which took me to Germany a year after on a students exchange. I loved it so much that I went back every year for 5 years, and later studied there and in Austria.
After I completed my Bachelor in English and German, I spent a year in England working as a French language assistant in primary schools and that's where I understood that I did not only love to learn languages but I also loved to teach languages. I then decided to become a French teacher and completed a Master's Degree in teaching French as a foreign language.
When I am not teaching, I keep learning languages, I started to learn Mandarin when I was teaching in China and Turkish a few years ago here with Verbalplanet.

I hold a Master's Degree in teaching French as a foreign language from a French university.
I have worked as a foreign language assistant for 3 years in public schools in England and Austria, focusing on communication and culture.
From 2012 until 2018, I have being working as a French teacher in private language institutions teaching my mother language to kids and adults. Since 2018, I am teaching online and it enables me to meet amazing students around the globe.

This is why :
- I use interactive tools, games and authentic resources in my classes,
- I teach French in French at any level (and it works),
- I personalize every lesson to make sure it fits to my student's needs.
