Graduate of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, I am a professional teacher of Russian Language and Literature. For over 20 years I have specialized in teaching literature and Russian as a Foreign Language to individuals and groups in commercial and academic institutions.

Working outside Russia and meeting interesting individuals so different from one other and yet so alike, allowed me to see the seemingly so familiar world of Russian culture in a new way. I felt its amazing ability to attract and unite people of different nationalities, ages and professions.

The world of Russian culture and of the Russian language, as its component, is much deeper and more majestic than our traditional perception of it. It is a great big world that fascinates and conquers everyone who touches it. The most interesting information lies on the surface, it just needs to be seen in the works of the classics of fiction, architecture, sculptures and paintings.

For those of you who are interested in the process of learning and restoring the forgotten and lost meanings of the Russian culture, I offer Russian language and literature lessons. Students of all levels (beginner to advanced) are welcome!

The lessons of Russian as a foreign language include the study of grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. The emphasis, however, is also placed on getting familiar with etymology, culture, history and literature. In fact, explaining many of the phenomena of the modern Russian language is impossible without relying on etymology and historical grammar. N.V. Gogol uttered these remarkable words, “You will marvel at the jewels in our language: its sonority is already a gift, everything is grained and hard as pearls, and, really, the name is still more jewel-like than the thing itself.” That being said, first and foremost, I take into account personal goals and interests of the student. An individual program is designed and study materials are provided.

Possible auxiliary languages ​​are French and English.
