I am a 39 year old English teacher. I live in Indonesia, but I am originally from The Netherlands. I studied English Literature and Linguistics in The Netherlands and I have been teaching groups and individuals here in Indonesia for the last five to six years. Besides teaching I enjoy making music, graphic design and practicing martial arts.

I have more than five years of English teaching experience. I have taught TOEFL, IELTS, ESP, EAP, CLIL, Business English, conversation classes, international presentation classes and writing classes. I am most experienced in teaching IELTS and have been trained to teach it. I am CELTA certified.

My approach is very student centered. I prefer not to waste time, but to focus on what a particular student needs and work together with the student to achieve the improvements they're looking for.
