I have a Master's degree in "German Philology" and "History and Social Studies" from the University of Klagenfurt (Austria). Since moving to England more than 20 years ago, I have gained extensive experience in teaching German. My previous roles have included working as a lecturer in higher education and teaching business German to a variety of companies in London. In 2006, I completed an EU-funded training program to become a certified online language teacher and have been working as a private language tutor ever since.

My teaching approach is communicative, caring and learner-centred. I believe that positive learning experiences can make a big difference to someone's life and I feel passionate about accompanying my students on their personal learning journeys.
