I am a native Turkish speaker and also a certificated Turkish/English Teacher. I began teaching at American Culture Language Schools in January 2013 and I worked there for a year. I have taught Turkish and English to people of varying ages and from various countries. I do online and face to face lessons. I have done, in total, 1.533 hours Turkish lessons, 1874 hours English lesson since 2013. Turkish learners were American, Irish, German, Arabic, Canadian, Brazilian, English, Belgian, Spanish, Colombian, Egyptian, Spanish.

I graduated from Karabuk University, English literature department. I also completed a “Turkish Teaching Training Programme” and “International English Teaching Certificate (TESOL)” courses. Furthermore, I have a “Business Management” master degree which was prepared by The University of Maine and Marmara University and bachelor degree in economics by Istanbul University. I completed Pedagogical Education at Karabuk University in 2017.

My basic philosophy is transferring my knowledge to my students efficiently, organizing the lessons for each student privately and entertaining them in the process so as to stimulate them to get the pleasure of learning Turkish.

Teaching methods are used:

- Natural Method: I teach vocabulary by using flashcards and mime the words. I use target language in the lessons. So, I teach vocabulary in the natural way.

- Communicative Method: I make role plays with my students. I also prepare communicative games for each lesson.

- Audio-Lingual Method: I prepare a listening part with some missing words. After the listening activity my student and I make a role play around the listening part.

- Grammar-Translation Method: I use this method to go faster.

- Audiovisual Method: I sometimes prepare videos. I also use pictures to talk about them.
