Hello, I'm Vanda, a TEFL and TESOL certified native speaking tutor with a bachelor's and an associate's degree. With over 12,000 tutoring hours and having taught 8,000 students, my experience includes over two years of onsite tutoring and more than seven years of online instruction. I have helped learners of all ages and levels from diverse backgrounds. I have also tutored a range of topics, including conversational and business English, and exam preparation.

My teaching style combines several styles to create the best student learning experience. I assess students, quickly adapt my teaching style to their learning styles, and use what works best for them. In my classes, you can see the communicative style, where I focus on authentic language use and meaningful interactions to help students communicate, but I also do activities that require students to use their language skills to solve problems or complete tasks (task-based learning style). I encourage students to use only English (direct method) based on their level, and I sometimes have them repeat information.
