It was a very good lesson. Deise has a knowledge of English and Portuguese. She knows exactly where someone learning Portuguese this speaks Spanish or English will make mistakes.

The lesson was indeed productive. I am adverse to opening a PayPal account in order to pay for the lessons. Normally, there is no problem using a credit card to pay, but PayPal required a PayPal account to effect payment. Therefore, I cannot continue

I'm very pleased with the progress we are making with the subjunctive and Deise's explanations. The pace of the class is tailored to my needs, which is a great advantage too. Muito feliz com as aulas.

Covering some key areas of grammar that I struggle with in a fun and interesting way. I love that we do some set exercises, and then some free practice to consolidate what I've learnt and make me work to put it into practice in an everyday context.
I always liked to study languages and travel, and maybe that's why I lived in France and studied in Moscow . In my free time, I like to watch TV shows, movies, going to the beach and chat with friends.
Being a teacher is part of who I am and I love it!

I have a degree in languages (Portuguese-Russian) from the University of São Paulo (2006). That same year, I had the opportunity to take a master's degree in Avignon, France which concluded in 2012 at USP.
I am currently completing my PhD also in literature.
I began teaching the during first year of college and I have never stopped. I have experience with small and medium-sized schools, tutoring Brazilian students with bad grades and Portuguese as a second language.

Our classes are very focused on conversation and cultural aspects of the Portuguese language in Brazil.
We will have the teaching support material (with grammar exercises), but we will also have more fun activities such as videos and Brazilian music.
From the first lesson, we will work on basic vocabulary so that one day you will be able to communicate in Portuguese without the help of your mother tongue.
Meu nome é Deise e eu nasci em São Paulo. Já morei na França e estudei em Moscou. Sempre gostei de estudar idiomas e de viajar. Nos tempos livres, gosto de assistir seriados de TV, filmes, ir à praia, praticar agility com meu cachorro e conversar com amigos. Ser professora é parte de quem sou e eu amo!

Sou formada em Letras (português-russo) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006). Naquele mesmo ano, tive a oportunidade de fazer uma parte do mestrado em Avignon, na França e o concluí em 2012 pela USP. Em 2017 eu concluí meu doutorado em Literatura.
Comecei a lecionar no primeiro ano de faculdade e nunca mais parei. Tenho experiência com escolas de pequeno e médio porte, aulas particulares de reforço para brasileiros e aulas de português para estrangeiros.

Nossas aulas serão bastante focadas em conversação e em aspectos culturais da língua portuguesa do Brasil. Teremos um material didático de apoio (com exercícios de gramática), mas também teremos atividades mais lúdicas, com vídeos e música brasileira.
Desde a primeira aula, trabalharemos no vocabulário básico para que você consiga se comunicar sem precisar da ajuda da língua materna.
