My name is Evelyn Badenas, I was born 28 years ago in Barcelona, but at the age of 23 I decided to leave and improve my languages skills, so I was living in The Netherlands for almost 4 years. Then, I moved again and that time life took to Dubai (UAE). There, I had the opportunity to teach Spanish to the locals.
Currently, I am living and working in Barcelona (Spain), and I would love to have the opportunity to continue using my teaching skills bringing the Spanish language and its culture a little bit closer to those who love our language and culture.
I am a native Spanish & Catalan speaker. I am graduated in BA Tourism & Hospitality in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), and I have been a qualified Spanish teacher since 2014 - Accredited by International House, Barcelona.
I’ve been teaching since I was 17 giving extra classes to children in general subjects, and also providing Spanish classes to students of IH Barcelona, in levels: A1, A2-B1.1 y B1.2, and as well as in the cultural association La Formiga (Barcelona), imparting classes to adults.
Currently, I teach English, mostly in academic preparation.
I provide tailored classes with a flexible schedule and all levels included.
Personally, I am very passionate about teaching; I think it should be motivational and always adapted to the needs of the student. I believe teaching a language must be based on practice, and I think the Internet gives the opportunity to bring a foreign language and a native speaker into people’s homes.
