Lehransatz
I will set specified programs, based on needs and preferences of the student so I take my techniques from a wide range of methods.
My approach is based on practical conversation, analysis of students needs and correction of common mistakes (I usually prefer late corrections when it is possible, in order to not interrupt language production).
Every lesson is structured with the five classical steps: warm up, presentation, practice, production and conclusion (wrap up and recap), but of course the scheme is open to adaptations. Then I can or cannot use a core book. If my students have particular goals (certifications, for instance) I use criteria of preparation and tests simulations taken from Siena University, Italian Institute of Culture and/or other institutions.
I use to pay attention on the effective requests of the students and prepare authentic materials to combine with grammar and linguistic drills (on line and in PDF, from my archive). Also, I can use songs, cinema, TV show, videos. Usually grammar is deduced from practical communications and I try to don't teach a number of rules but to help the student to find his own set of linguistic habits.
