My name is Polina. I am a native Russian tutor from Moscow.

I love travelling and learning foreign languages. I find it fascinating to be able to visit new countries and new places, speak with people in their language and make new friends.

Whether you are new to learning Russian or already have some knowledge of this wonderful language and want to improve your skills, I would be happy to help!

I have a BA degree in Linguistics from the International University in Moscow.

After graduation from the university I completed the Russian Teacher Training course.

I've been working as a Russian tutor online since 2017.

I plan my lessons according to the student's goals and interests. Normally, my teaching method is designed to help students develop all the language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). During my lessons I combine standard learning materials with additional training aids such as audio, video and articles on updated topics. Besides that the students learn about Russian culture, as the knowledge of a foreign culture goes hand in hand with learning the language.

If you have some special goals in learning Russian, do not hesitate to share them with me, and I will work out a program which will suit you.

As Russia hosts FIFA World Cup 2018, I also invite you to take a Russian express course during which you will learn:

- how to read and thus orient yourself in Russian cities (because most of the signs are written in Russian letters),

- how to conduct a basic talk with locals in hotels, restaurants and shops,

- how to buy tickets and goods, and so on.
