I’m a very patient teacher and have been told by my teachers and colleagues that I'm very approachable and easy going. I love meeting new people, connecting with them and seeing them progressively grow confident in their own abilities. When I teach, I like to offer a space where students feel challenged and confident in their skills to solve whatever problem I bring to the table, on their own or with the help of their colleagues (if doing a group lesson). I also have plenty of experience in learning new languages, so I know how difficult it can be sometimes! As such, I like to set the goals together with the student and work at a pace that's suitable for them, but still challenging and engaging. Read more about my methods below :)
Abschlüsse und Erfahrung
My experience with Business English began before I started teaching. I worked in positions that ranged from sales ex3cutive to logistics manager. My responsibilities were varied, but they all required me to have an excellent command of business English in order for them to be completed successfully. Having done this for many years and having given training to several staff members, I feel more than capable in assisting other people to develop these skills.
Recently I started teaching, which gave me further skills on classroom management, creative lesson planning and detailed evaluation for groups of up to 30 children & adults. I’ve recently completed and passed Cambridge’s CELTA, which has taught me how to have a better insight on the students, how they learn according to their background and goals and how to better prepare my lessons according to these needs.

My method is student focused & communicative.
I do not rigidly follow any particular textbook, but change my lessons to meet the aims and requirements of my students. I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible, so if you join a course with me, the first step will be for us to find out together which topics, content and focus are important for you. There is no fixed curriculum. Keeping the lesson engaging and student-focused is my main priority.
I'm aware that everyone has a different learning style, so I try to make sure everyone is happy by using a lot of different materials for each student/group of students. The topics and activities will also be designed in a way that reflect what happens in real-life situations, so that you can feel more confident in your own skills outside of the classroom.
