Über mich - Englisch
Hello !!
My name is Paawan and I'm from India. I've been a teaching English language to international students coming from countries like Japan, China, South Korea, Yemen, Oman, Djibouti, Brazil, etc for more than three years. Though Bengali happens to be my mother tongue, I have had all my education in English, and hence I have native level fluency in all the four skills. I have recently graduated the Cambridge CELTA course from International House, Budapest.
Apart from teaching all the four language skills, I have taught Business English, Presentation Skills, Voice and Accent and English to Nurses. I have got Cambridge BEC Higher (Business English Certificate) and TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test). I have also been involved in lesson planning, counselling students and other administrative work related to teaching.
I love travelling because I'm interested in knowing and learning about different cultures. I recently made a trip to Hungary, Croatia and Austria. Besides, I love learning languages. I have learn French for three years. I have also learnt some basic Arabic. The other tings that interest me are dance, cooking, baking.
In the future, I would like to continue teaching and travelling, exploring places, people and culture.

My teaching approach is completely student-oriented. Language is always taught in a context with the help different activities. Teacher's talking time is kept low, and there is involvement of the students in the class. The lessons are aim focussed. The students get a lot of chance to use the language in real life context / situations.
