I’m Astrid Machado from Venezuela. I am a professional graduated from the university as a Petroleum Engineer and I am a Spanish Teacher

The happiness and joy of the student + their progresses with the target language = my biggest price. In this way, my students are the ones who motivate me to work better and to prepare interesting lessons for them. I try to combine reading, writing, conversation, grammar and listening by using different resources. I'm open-minded and flexible person. In 2016, I decided to teach Spanish, now I have more than 4000 lessons given online. One of the best thing I love about teaching a new language, it is to learn so much about other cultures. It is a pleasure for me to help you learn a new language or practice with what you have already learned about the language. I believe understanding a new language and culture can be life changing, in an exciting and meaningful way but I am here to make you feel confident and happy during that process.

If you wonder how I organize the lessons, please read below.

1. Beginners

- You will learn basic alphabets and how to write and pronounce it clearly, basic verbs (conjugations) and nouns, how to make basic sentences from them.

2. Intermediate

- I will help you with building up new vocabulary and expressions, practicing the tenses with dynamic activities

- In the meantime, you will learn about different tones and connotations.

3. Advanced

- You can choose a topic, and we can discuss it together or we can just have random conversations.

- During the discussion, I will correct your pronunciations and teach you better expressions to express your opinions.

I like to take notes during the conversation, I have a little notebook for that, there I write the mistakes that my students are making and then I tell them the correct way to say it. I personalize the lessons according to their needs and goals and I always prepare for each lesson I have

Si te preguntas cómo organizo las lecciones, lee a continuación.

1. Principiantes

- Aprenderás alfabetos básicos y cómo escribirlos y pronunciarlos claramente, verbos básicos (conjugaciones) y sustantivos, cómo hacer oraciones básicas a partir de ellos.

2. Intermedio

- Te ayudaré a desarrollar un nuevo vocabulario y expresiones, practicando los tiempos verbales con actividades dinámicas.

- Mientras tanto, aprenderá sobre diferentes tonos y connotaciones.

3. Avanzado

- Puedes elegir un tema, y podemos discutirlo juntos o podemos tener conversaciones al azar.

- Durante la discusión, corregiré tus pronunciaciones y te enseñaré mejores expresiones para expresar tus opiniones.
