¡Hola! My name is Lola and I am from the south of Spain. I currently live in the North East of England. I love languages, travelling, reading, and doing yoga.

In 2010 I achieved my bachelor degree in Journalism. However, soon disappointed by the current affairs in the profession, I took a change in my career path. I have always been interested in languages – having studied English, French, Latin, and Greek in high school – so I decided to take a Spanish teaching course. For nearly a year, before I moved to the UK, I worked as a Spanish teacher both in a language school and as a private tutor in Sevilla.

Once in the UK, I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Spanish (2015). During that year I taught in Secondary and I loved working with teenagers and children. After that, I taught on supply on various schools around the North East of England. Since then, I have been working as a Spanish teacher in a language school for over two years.

I adapt my lessons and teaching style to each of my students. I try to create lessons that are conversation-based and pair them with grammar. I always like to talk to my students to accommodate my classes to best suit their needs.

Learning a language offers many possibilities and enjoyment, and I love teaching Spanish as I get to share this experience with my students!
