Hi, I am Amy! I was born in China. Then I emigrated to the US at 12. I speak both English and Mandarin Chinese. I started teaching as a hobby in June 2013, and… it turned into a full-time career! I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love meeting learners from all the world and helping them with their language learning journey. I have experience working with children and adult learners. I am a language learner myself, so I completely understand the frustrations and obstacles that learners encounter. My goal is to provide a comfortable and fun environment so your learning process can be as enjoyable as possible! Being able to connect and talk to other people in another language is AMAZING! I hope to share this joy with more people!

I have been teaching online since June 2013. It started out as a hobby for the first two years. Then I decided to complete a teaching certificate because I fell in love with helping learners from all over the world! I earned my Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate in 2015. Since then, I have been working as a professional online teacher (while still keeping my fun and relaxed personality). I have taught more than 6,000 sessions and helped over 400 students all while maintaining 4.9/5.0 satisfaction score consistently.
