Hello!! My name is Deanna. I'm 20 years old and I currently live in Florida in the United States. Here, we live right near the Gulf of Mexico, so we have beautiful, white sandy beaches. My passion is cake decorating! I enjoy every part, from baking the cake, to putting the final finishing touches, especially on wedding cakes. I also really enjoy traveling and learning new languages. I've been learning Spanish for the last couple of years, so when the opportunity to go to Panama came up, I jumped on it! It was absolutely gorgeous and life had a simplicity that I adored. I hope I'll be able to visit again soon. That experience taught me that there is so much to see in the world besides just my home country. So that's why my personal goal is to visit as many countries as I can. I currently have my TESOL certification, which allows me to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages. I also have 4 years of experience teaching in other fields, so I'm excited to begin my journey with teaching English! I've spent the last 2 years learning Spanish, so I definitely understand the challenges involved with learning a second language, and I plan to use that knowledge to help you reach your goals with compassionate, objective-driven lessons.

I believe students learn best when they are invested in the process. That's why any lessons you take with me will be completely YOU-focused. Once I understand why you want to learn English, what you're passionate about, and what your end goal is, we can focus our lessons on helping you get there - your way! Not every student is the same and not every student should be taught the same way. For example, you might be really passionate about video games, and you want to learn English to help you get into a type of work that involves game development. I can teach you industry-specific vocabulary that helps you get where you want to go. Yo tengo la certificación de TESOL, lo que me permite enseñar Ingles a personas que hablar otros idiomas. Una vez que entiendo por qué quiere aprender inglés, qué le apasiona y cuál es su objetivo final, podemos centrar nuestras lecciones en ayudarlo a llegar allí, ¡a su manera! No todos los estudiantes son iguales y no todos los estudiantes deben ser enseñados de la misma manera. Por ejemplo, es posible que te apasionen los videojuegos y quieres aprender inglés para ayudarte a participar en un tipo de trabajo que involucra el desarrollo de juegos. Puedo enseñarte vocabulario específico de la industria que te ayuda a llegar a donde quieres ir.
