I'm an interpreter/translator and an Italian and English teacher (TEFL certified).

I mostly work on remote (via Skype) but also at a language school.

Languages have always been my greatest passion. As an interpreter and translator, I started translating into English and French. After more than twenty years in the Netherlands, I also added Dutch to my translating experience.

As a teacher, I have been teaching Italian for more than twenty years. In the last years, I specialized in remote lessons both in Italian and in English.

I have good people skills and I believe I am an easy going, positive and gleeful person. That's the reason why, by all accounts, my lessons are entertaining and pleasant.

I have developed a teaching system based on grammar textbooks, turning them in power-point lessons complete with exercises, reading texts and images. Once on Skype, I share the lesson, explaining grammar rules, reading together the texts and helping to complete the exercises.

During my lessons, I submit lots of articles and texts related to art, politics or current events. The purpose is to encourage the students to reproduce in their own words what they have read after analyzing the text.

Another way I try to make my lessons interesting is by preparing "custom lessons": power-point presentation with specific arguments requested by my students.

Ten minutes, at least, are dedicated to conversation in general.

Sono interprete traduttrice ed insegnante di italiano per stranieri, inglese (certificata TEFL).

Svolgo la mia attività di insegnante principalmente da remoto ovvero via skype ed in sede, dal mio studio/ufficio in provincia di Genova.

Ho sempre avuto uno spiccato interesse per le lingue straniere, iniziando la mia carriera scolastica al liceo linguistico e terminando con una laurea breve come interprete traduttrice nelle lingue inglese e francese. La vita in seguito mi ha portato in Olanda, ad Amsterdam, dove ho vissuto e lavorato come insegnante e traduttrice per una ventina d'anni.

Rientrata in Italia, ho continuato ad insegnare ai miei studenti olandesi da remoto, creando e perfezionando il mio metodo via skype.

Insegnare è solo una parte del mio lavoro. Sono anche traduttrice dall'inglese, francese ed olandese.

Sono una persona molto allegra e positiva ed incline ai rapporti umani. Le mie lezioni , a detta dei miei studenti, sono divertenti, pratiche ed efficaci!

Ho sviluppato un sistema di lezioni partendo da testi di grammatica per stranieri. Ho creato delle presentazioni (lezioni) in power point, complete di esercizi, testi di lettura e immagini per memorizzare ed apprendere nuovi vocaboli.

Di volta in volta, via Skype, condivido una lezione, spiegando le regole di grammatica, invitando a leggere i testi di lettura e assistendo lo studente nel compilare gli esercizi.

Propongo, inoltre, testi di attualità, cultura e arte invitando lo studente a spiegarne il contenuto dopo aver letto ed analizzato il testo.

Dieci minuti almeno della mia lezione sono dedicati a conversazione libera.

Per rendere le lezioni sempre interessanti, creo delle presentazioni (lezioni) a tema secondo richiesta degli studenti stessi (viaggi, sport, moda, cucina e qualsiasi altro argomento mi venga proposto).
