I’m Kaori from Japan. I have master's degree in linguistics and I'm interested in languages in general. I was taking Spanish at school so I understand the learners' point of view.

I completed my Japanese teaching practice in the U.S. and English teaching practice in Japan. So I have teaching certificates in both languages.

I’ve been teaching Japanese at a university (U.S). I’d love to expand my career plus I love teaching so I’ve been trying online teaching in 2019! (I was focused on the university work by now but I'll start teaching here from June 2023)

Other than teaching, I was working at a Japanese company as a translator before coming to the states. I'm interested in language transfer. So, I can do Japanese proofreading as well.

I want to make sure you reach your goal. I think teaching approaches should be changed from student to student, and being able to meet students' needs is also the beauty of online one-to-one teaching.

I have textbooks called Genki I & II, Tobira, and Intermediate Japanese, so I will probably refer to these materials and add some vocabulary/phrases too.
