Hello everyone, I am Poulomi from India. I am a native Bengali and I hail from the 'City of Joy', Kolkata. I completed my schooling from 'Rasmoni Balika Bidyalay' and earned a bachelor's degree in History from Victoria Institution College, Kolkata. I started home tutoring since the early days of my graduation course. Since I always wanted to be a teacher, I completed B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) from Dr. B R Ambedkar Institution of Education, Baruipur. Then I started to teach in a school.

Teaching has always been my dream profession. I like to interact with students, help them learn different topics related to the Bengali Language and Indian History. During my tenure as a teacher, I used to teach around 100 pupils at the primary level. I enjoyed the days teaching the children with fun and frolics.

Bengali has always been my most favourite subject. I used to read different books on different genres in the Bengali Language that acquainted me with the different aspects of the language. Over the years, Bengali literature has been nourished and flourished by the works of some of the great litterateurs of all time. A few of the pinnacles are Rabindranath Tagore, Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay, Saratchandra Chattopadhyay, Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay, etc. whose quintessential literature's have endowed the Bengali Language. So to have a taste of those great works, I welcome you all to learn this language with me.

I have completed my Bachelor's course in History from Victoria Institution, Kolkata. After that, I joined a local primary school and worked for 2 years. I had already been home tutoring since the early days of my college. Later I decided to complete the B.Ed (Bachelors of Education) degree to start working as a professional teacher. Currently, I am tutoring, both in-person and online, and preparing for different competitive exams.

I can understand that different students have specific needs and goals. So a common course would not be fruitful for every student. Hence in our first session, I would discuss with students their goals and purposes to learn this language. Then we would chart a course keeping in mind their needs. Also, I would assess their proficiency i.e. if the student is a beginner or has some knowledge on the subject. During our course, I would provide the students with different study materials to enhance their knowledge and skills. So my course would be student-specific that will help the student to learn the language properly.

নমস্কার, আমি পৌলমী দাস। আমি একজন ভারতীয় নাগরিক। আমি কলকাতার ভিক্টোরিয়া ইনস্টিটিউশন কলেজ থেকে ২০১৭ সালে ইতিহাসে অনার্স নিয়ে স্নাতক ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছি। এর পরে, আমি বারুইপুরের ডঃ বি আর আম্বেদকর ইনস্টিটিউট অফ এডুকেশন থেকে বি এড ডিগ্রী অর্জন করি এবং শিক্ষকতা শুরু করি। আমি মনেপ্রাণে একজন বাঙালি। আমি বাংলা ভাষার শিক্ষক হতে চাই কারণ আমার বাংলা পড়তে এবং পড়াতে ভালো লাগে।

ভাষা হ'ল যোগাযোগ এবং নিজের আবেগ প্রকাশ করার শ্রেষ্ঠ মাধ্যম। প্রত্যেক ভাষাই তার সভ্যতা ও সংস্কৃতির সরব বহিঃপ্রকাশ। বাংলা ভাষাও সেইরূপ বাঙালির মননশীলতা এবং সৃজনশীলতায় হয়েছে সমৃদ্ধ। এই ভাষাতেই রবীন্দ্রনাথ গেয়ে উঠেছেন, ‘আমার সোনার বাংলা, আমি তোমায় ভালোবাসি’, শরৎচন্দ্রের কলমে লিপিবদ্ধ হয়েছে মানুষের সুখ-দুঃখের কাহিনী আবার এই ভাষাতেই বিভূতিভূষণের ‘আরণ্যক’ এ বাঙ্ময় হয়ে উঠেছে বঙ্গপ্রকৃতি।

মাতৃভাষার প্রতি আমার প্রেম অকৃত্রিম এবং এই ভাষায় শিকক্ষতা করতে আমি ভালোবাসি। আমি আমার সর্বোত্তম প্রচেষ্টা দ্বারা আমার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সাহায্য করি। আশা করি আমার সাথে এই সুমিষ্ট ভাষা চর্চা করে আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে।

আমি ছোটবেলা থেকেই বাংলা মাধ্যমে পড়াশোনা করেছি। আমি মাধ্যমিক এবং উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পাস্ করি রাসমণি বালিকা বিদ্যালয় থেকে। এরপর আমি কলকাতার ভিক্টোরিয়া ইনস্টিটিউশন কলেজ থেকে ২০১৭ সালে ইতিহাসে অনার্স নিয়ে স্নাতক ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছি | এর পরে, আমি বারুইপুরের ডঃ বি আর আম্বেদকর ইনস্টিটিউট অফ এডুকেশন থেকে বি এড ডিগ্রী অর্জন করি |বর্তমানে আমি বাংলা ভাষা এবং ভারতীয় ইতিহাস- এই দুই বিষয়ের গৃহ শিক্ষকতা করি। এছাড়াও আমার একটি স্কুলে ২ বছর শিক্ষকতা করার অভিজ্ঞতা আছে ।

আমি আমার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী আমার পাঠ্যসূচি তৈরী করি। পড়ানোর সাথে সাথে আমি বাংলায় বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা করি যা তাদের বাংলায় কথোপকথন করতে সাহায্য করে। এর সাথে আমি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বাংলা শব্দের উচ্চারণ সঠিক করতে সাহায্য করি। সঠিক ব্যাকরণের সাথে সাথে বাক্য রচনার পদ্ধতি শেখাই।
