Hello

My name is Seema. I am a full time teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience.

I specialize in teaching phonics, reading and writing children from ages of 5-12.

For adults I teach through having meaningful conversations about things that interest my students.

I have been working as an English teacher for the last 20 years.

I have a TEFL certificate and have also completed the following courses from the UK: Ruth Miskin Training, Montessori, Read and Write Inc. Phonics, Numicon Leadership and Management and Numicon Progressions in Years one to three.

Furthermore, I also have a diploma from the US and have also been trained and taught in Helen Doron before.

My teaching approach differs depending on whether the student is a child or adult.

For children I teach through animated PowerPoints, games and activities that allow students to learn English in a way that is fun and engaging.

For adults I teach through having conversations. The main purpose here is for the student to become comfortable speaking in English then we can work on correcting their mistakes little by little.
