Nice first lesson with good instruction and good use of the texting feature on Skype. If I can find the time to a bit of study I think I have a good chance of improving.

Isabelle is such a great teacher. She’s funny and very patient. I haven’t not spoken French fluently in over 10 years and I speak Haitian Creole so there is a lot of confusion at times as to what is French and what is Creole. Isabelle is very patient and when I default to English she gently reminds me to express myself in French. This is very encouraging and definitely what is needed in an instructor.

I'm 47, married and the mother of 2 girls. I've lived in Paris most of my life. However, I've spent my teenage years in Montreal (Canada), where I learned English and experienced the "American way of life". I've always loved the French language for it's so rich and subtle, and it's a pleasure for me teaching it.
I'm patient, adaptable and I have a friendly personality.
Certificaciones y experiencia
I have a BA degree in French literature from the Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French online to adults and teenagers for the last past 10 years.
I've had students from all over the world, and what I enjoy the most is being able to learn from other cultures and ways of life, while sharing my knowledge in French.
Método de enseñanza
I like my lessons to be fun but yet professional. I try to communicate my pleasure of teaching to the students so they'll enjoy their lessons. It's also important for me to create a bond with them and make them feel comfortable and free to speak.
I've had students of all levels so I'm able to propose grammar lessons, conversation, reading, correction of texts or emails... I adapt to my students' needs, level and requests.
