Hello! I am a native English speaker from the United States. I live in Berlin, Germany with my wife who is a native Berliner.

I speak fluent Spanish and I have lived in Argentina and Spain. I am currently learning German which is quite hard but fun. I also speak a little French. Therefore, I know what it is like to learn a language and I love helping others accomplish their language goals. If you want to learn conversational English so you can take a trip or move to an English speaking country or learn English that you can use in the workplace I am happy to help. Most importantly I hope that you have fun in your experiences with English. It can be a tough language but it can also be a lot of fun.

I have been teaching English as a Second Language for eight years.

I have taught in The United States, Spain and Germany. I have taught people from various countries including Nepal, India, Bhutan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, many Spanish speaking countries and many countries in Africa.

I have a TESOL/TESL/TEFL teaching certificate from Oxford Seminars and my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Kentucky from which I graduated with honors.

I believe that speaking is most important. Therefore, I like to motivate the student to do as much speaking as possible in order to overcome any nervousness they may have and improve their verbal skills. I do use reading and writing assignments to help the student remember the vocabulary and grammatical structures that they learn during the lesson. However, in order to become proficient in any language, it requires a good balance of all four of the skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

¡Hola! Soy de los Estados Unidos. Vivo en Berlín, Alemania con mi Esposa. Ella es de Berlín. Estoy aquí desde hace algunos años ya.

Cómo ves, hablo español. Eso es porque lo estudié muchos años en los Estados Unidos y trabajé por 11 años con nativo hablantes de algunos países diferentes pero la mayoría eran de México. Yo estudié también en Argentina por un semestre y en España por un año. Fue allá que conocí a mi novia.

Ahora aprendo alemán. Es una lengua muy difícil pero también divertido. Hablo también un poquito de francés pero no muy bien. Por lo tanto, entiendo yo como es aprender una lengua y me encanta ayudar a otras personas para lograr sus metas del inglés.

Si quiere usted aprender inglés conversacional para que puede hacer un viaje o si quiere mudarse a un país donde se habla inglés o si quiere aprender un poco de inglés para su trabajo, me encantaría ayudarle.

Sobre todo, espero que disfrute de sus experiencias con inglés. Puede ser una lengua difícil a veces pero puede ser divertido también.

Creo que lo más importante cuando aprendamos una lengua es hablar. Por lo tanto, me gusta motivar el estudiante para hablar lo más posible para quitar su timidéz y mejorar sus capacidades verbales.
