My name is Jay, 29 years old. I am a native Thai speaker. I live in Bangkok which gives me a good opportunity to share our beautiful cultures, especially Thai language to my friends here. I started teaching Thai for foreigners 4 years ago and most of my student have private lessons with me(face to face). I love this job because I can share my knowledge and also get new experiences through my students' story at the same time.

I have a certification to teach Thai for foreigners and I also have more than 4 years experience on this job. Normally my lessons take place in public place in Bangkok and now I am conducting my lessons over Skype as well. My students are from so many countries such as America, Australia, French, England etc and I also teach Thai to my expat friends in Bangkok.

I always work hard on preparing my lesson to ensure my students will be able to speak Thai correctly and safely. I’m a friendly and easy going person so I’m sure we will have a good atmosphere in our class. I’m not too serious and I care very much for my students so we can make it work together. No pressure, no need to hurry just do your best!

My tools for teaching Thai is phonetic. Phonetic is a symbols of sound and I selected this way because sounds in Thai not exactly match with English sounds so using English characters represent Thai's sound maybe cause students have problem with their pronunciation.

Most of my lessons are conversation base. I design all lesson by my self to fit my student level, interesting and learning ability. I know how difficult of learning new languages(I am learning English as my 2nd language). Thus I will do my best to make it easy for you because I understand how you feel!
