My name is Konstantinos. Thank you for reading my profile.

I am half German half Greek and I live in Berlin, Germany. I have over 20 years teaching experience.I specialise in teaching conversational and business German via Skype.

I offer preparation for exams such as Goethe A1, A2,,B1, B2, C1, C2 TELC and TESDAF and ÖSD.I have developed and written learning activities and skills courses.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, cycling, skiing and krav maga exercise. I also enjoy watching most other sports.

I have a PhD in Linguistics. Mother languages are German and Greek and I have good skills in English.

Being bilingual is a great asset to me and it helps me achieve excellence in my teaching work.

I have taught all levels in German and Greek. I have taught classes and I'm now very excited to teach students from all over the world via Skype. I have tutored for more than 20 years now with innumerable happy and successful students.

- I have taught individual lessons as well as group lessons

My teaching approach is flexible to suit the learner's needs.

I will find out what you want to achieve. At this stage I will get to know the level of German or Greek you have already reached, then I will prepare step-by step lessons tailored for your needs.

My approach is largely conversational, with you choosing the topics which will be helpful to you. I will correct your errors, so you become more confident with pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. In our first conversation we will decide which methods to use, such as role-plays, informal conversation, or a variety of other activities to help you.

I welcome conversational beginners right up to proficient speakers. It may be you want to speak better German with friends. Or, you may be a business manager who wants to be able to give good German presentations to your employees. Whatever your goals I will show you how to achieve them.

During our first session I will evaluate your level of German. Based on your skills and your personal goals I will then either propose a coursebook or will provide you with teaching materials. I always give homework.

Oral communication and vocabulary are my main focus.
