Hi guys, my name is John and I was born and raised near Manchester in the U.K. I have been living and working in Asia for over six years now. I love the culture and people in Asia and have decided this is where I belong. I am an easygoing and fun loving person that enjoys meeting and getting to know new people, I really enjoy helping people to achieve their goals and take great pride in my work. I am patient and intuitive when understanding students needs and have a wealth of experience dealing with language learners, both in the classroom and online. I am also available for instant lessons if required.

In addition to my degree I also hold 4 qualifications for teaching, these are a Masters course TEFL certificate, a Business English TEFL certificate, IELTS teaching online, and a IELTS preparation TEFL certificate. My whole career has been based around teaching and training people in many different fields from people skills, health and safety, management as well as 6 years classroom teaching to language learners in Vietnam. I can and have taught at all levels from absolute beginner up to advanced levels.

As a teacher I take pride in seeing my students not only learn their chosen topic but also enjoying learning, I firmly believe that studying should be a fun and rewarding experience and not a chore. With this in mind I make it my goal to ensure that students not only learn but also gain confidence from their studies, I have found through experience that the biggest barrier to learning for most students is a lack of confidence, and therefore make it my goal to help my students enjoy and gain both confidence and ability from my time with them.

I am easygoing and patient as a person and find that students respond well to a relaxed environment and being allowed to increase their knowledge at their own pace, I try my best to recognise the individual needs of each student and design my materials to suit.
