My name is Camilo, I'm from Medellín, Colombia.

I am a teacher with more than 4 years of experience in both public and private schools. I have had the opportunity to work for one of the most important universities in the city of Medellín. I have accompanied the learning processes of children, adolescents and adults through personalized classes. Currently, I teach online, work in a private school and also in one of the best English academies in the Medellin, Colombia. I am a versatile teacher who can identify the needs of each student and from there I can design a lesson plan that can help students with their linguistic needs and goals. My approach is communicative, helping the learner to develop and improve their skills in writing, listening, speaking and reading. However I am aware of the need of grammar in teaching a foreign language, for this, I always address the grammar from a context and allow the students to learn the language structures in an easier way. The student will learn to speak Spanish while we discuss topics of their interest.

Soy un profesor versátil que puedo identificar las necesidades de cada estudiante y desde ahí diseñar un plan de estudio que pueda ayudar a los estudiantes en sus necesidades y metas lingüísticas. Mi enfoque es comunicativo llevando siempre al aprendiz a que desarrolle y mejore sus habilidades en escritura, escucha, habla y lectura.Sin embargo, soy consciente de la necesidad de la gramática en la enseñanza de un idioma extranjero, para esto, siempre abordo los temas gramaticales desde un contexto y permitir que el estudiante aprenda las estructuras del idioma de una manera mas fácil. El estudiante aprenderá a hablar español mientras abordamos temas de su interés.
