I have a bachelor degree in Teaching English as a Foreign and Second Language (UCA) and I specialize in teaching English and Spanish as second languages and foreign languages. Among other qualifications, I have completed the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English, Cambridge) and a Training Course to Teach Spanish (Winton International, Argentina-Canada). I started giving online classes to students from all over the world 8 years ago. I am a language trainer in different companies where I teach online classes, face-to-face classes and workshops for ex3cutives, business teams, pharmaceutical experts and doctors among other professionals. I have recently worked in international companies such as Nike, Thomson Reuters and Alexion. I also teach English and American literature at university (Teacher Training College) and I do research on topics related to reading comprehension and interculturality. I am a language trainer at different Teacher Training Colleges (Spanish Language and English Language) and I have experience in secondary level in bilingual communities, teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and international exams (Cambridge ESOL & IGCSE). In 2019 I plan to start my PhD, so I am excited about gaining more professional experience and working with people who are committed and eager to learn.

My classes are strongly based on the needs and interests of my students. Texts, topics and learning areas are adapted according to the case and I consider it very important that classes are as practical as possible, since this is the best way to learn a language. Classes are oriented to conversation and when the specific need arises, there is more theoretical grammar that can be reinforced. Ideally, the four macro-skills are practiced: reading, writing, listening and speaking, in order to achieve a true integration of the most relevant aspects of the language. The materials used can vary, from books and readers, to websites, radio, TV, film, literature, comics, among others.

Hace 8 años comencé a dar clases online a estudiantes de todas partes del mundo. Los textos, tópicos y áreas de trabajo se adaptan según el caso y considero muy importante que las clases sean lo más prácticas posibles ya que de ese modo es más fácil fijar contenidos. Las clases se orientan a la conversación y según las necesidades puntuales de los alumnos se pueden reforzar aspectos gramaticales más teóricos. Idealmente se practican las cuatro macro-habilidades: lectura, escritura, escucha y conversación, para lograr de esa forma una verdadera integración de los aspectos más relevantes de la lengua.
